Hey Everyone!

This is my blog about my misadventures in India! I will be completing a one month medical rotation and then vacationing for 2 weeks. For 3 weeks, Tricia (my classmate) and I, will be in Delhi. We will be rotating at various clinics and hospitals that are addressing some of the public health issues in India - treating underserved populations like women, "street children", injection drug users, and transgendered people; managing infectious diseases like malaria, TB, and HIV; and learning about the socio-ecomonic, environmental, and cultural issues that affect health care delivery in India. For the last week, we will be visiting many similar sites in rural Jaipur. Then it's onto Darjeeling, Mumbai, and Goa for some R&R.
